Naturopathy
"Nature never did betray the heart that loved
her"
Always remember that we are an irrefutable part of nature.
We have to live according to natural norms. Nature has
its own ways of treating ailments utterly different from
pharmaceutical methods. It does not require any doctor
or any kind of pills
for treatment.
The technique is amazingly simple. Its list of medicine
includes- sunlight, air, water and diet. A therapy like
massage is a further boost. The naturopathic technique
is slowly and steadily gaining universal appeal. We
really are fed up of all those prescriptions and visits
to our family doctor. We need something that keeps us
away from doctors and nature cure is a miraculous solution
for it. Naturopathy believes that the human body is
made up of ingredients capable of curing any disease
or physical disarray like obesity.
The traditional as well as the modern naturopaths consider
healing by strengthening the individual rather than
treating a particular disease. This includes physical
as well as mental strength.
According to naturopaths disease can not survive in
a fit and fine body. Much of the advice of naturopaths
circulates around eating a lot of fresh fruits and vegetable,
sound exercise regularly, quit smoking alcohol or any
sort of drugs, taking balanced diet, drinking lot of
water, maintaining hygienic living environment. Naturopaths
provide a lot of recommendation regarding healthy environment.
Naturopathy makes use of nature's agencies, forces,
processes and products and introduces them into the
human body. It is a nonmaterial force which transcends
the laws of physics and chemistry.
Natural verses conventional
The dispute between the natural and the conventional
method arises because of the difference in there philosophies.
Naturopathic treatment concentrates on overall health
rather than curing the disease whereas the conventional
medicines concentrate precisely on the diseased part
untreated. Naturopaths are more concerned in finding
the root cause of a problem.
Components
1) Naturopathy or nature cure comprises of the five
elements of nature - Air, Water, Space, Fire and Earth
able to treat any kind of ailment disorder pain or injury.
2) Naturopaths empathizes the use of natural herbs,
nutrition, hydrotherapy, the ultimate goal of all being
stimulation of body to increase its healing capacity.
3) Nature cure theory firmly believes that there is
a single cause to all kind of disease- amassing of waste
material and toxins in our bodies.
Causes
1) Natural - human body is made up of cells; these
cells generate toxic wastes due to metabolic reactions.
In addition to this the dead cells also contribute actively
in producing waste material if not replaced instantly
by new cells.
2) Unnatural- the fast and topsy-turvy life which we
live contribute in producing toxins.
3) Hectic schedule and mental pressure-this leads to
less sleep than required which further ads up to human
disorder.
4) Consumption of junk food- people these days prefer
fast food like burger, noodles etc instead of fresh
and hygienic food like green vegetables, fresh fruits,
juice etc, drinking soft drink in place of clean water
which decreases the human capacity to fight germs.
5) Lack of exercise- the materialistic lifestyle has
overshadowed the importance of exercise.
Remedy
1) Exercise- it stabilizes the human body physically
as well as mentally. It helps in creating a proper balance
between nutrition and drainage.
2) Yoga-
an extremely beneficial method to revitalize your body
and mind.
3) Meditation- helps u feel open-minded and considerably
increases your concentration level. It ignites the human
body mentally. Physically as well as spiritually.
Myth
Germs do not cause disease but are a part of disease.
They can't exist in a healthy body. In a fit and fine
body having normal secretions and excretions germs cannot
survive, they are dumped away by antibodies.
Criticism
1) Medical science sturdily criticizes Naturopathic
methods of treatment. According to medical science any
medication capable of producing a therapeutic effect
is but naturally capable of producing an adverse effect.
2) Moreover medical science denies the adverse effects
of drugs on the healing processes.
