Phentermine: Few Precautions

  • Phentermine pills should always be swallowed as a whole. It should never be crushed, chewed or opened. It needs to be taken properly.
  • Always take the dose that has been prescribed. It is cheap so don't think of taking an extra dose of phentermine without your doctor's knowledge.
  • It is very important to remember that it is a habit forming pill and can lead to problems. So beware. Buy it from an online pharmacy only if you can take care of yourself.
  • Phentermine causes dizziness so it is better not to drive, operate heavy machinery, or perform any such activity after its intake.
  • It is better not to take phentermine if you have any heart problem, blood pressure, artiosclerosis, glaucoma, or a history of drug abuse. This also includes alcohol abuse.
  • Other medications may interact with phentermine and bring harmful results. So never take the pill if you are on any other medication. Even normal cough and cold medicines may harm the patient when they interact with phentermine drug. So be little careful
  • Phentermine should never be taken along with caffeine products. This results in an increase heartbeat rate and may lead to danger. Stop the use immediately if there is an irregular heartbeat or high blood pressure.
  • Phentermine should never be taken if you are pregnant. If you still want to try it, check with your doctor first.
  • Again, do not take phentermine if you are feeding your baby.
  • Phentermine causes insomnia. So do not take the pill in evening.
  • Do not try to take a double dose of Phentermine. This is applicable even when you have missed a dose. Wait for the time for next dose and take a single dose.
  • Any kind of difficulty in breathing, closing of throat, sweeling of lips, tongue, or face should be taken seriously and the use of Phentermine should be discontinued.
