Stress- A Mental Killer

Health, Happiness and Success are the three most desired things in life and stress can destroy all of them. Be cautious; eliminate stress before it eliminates you. Stress is slowly becoming a part of our social life; the causes for stress are endless. An overdose of happiness can also cause stress. Negative thoughts, feeling, emotional setback, work pressure is the primal factors resulting in stress.

But they are not the only causes; simple events in day to day life can also lead to terrible stress- brawl with a friend, family disputes, financial problems etc. How to kill this ferocious enemy of ours?? ……Remember that stress is not a physical illness like obesity which can be cured by diet pills, it's a psychological enemy which has to be fought psychologically. It affects you physically, mentally as well as emotionally, so be prepared to kick it away from your life.

How stress affects you??

  • It reduces our thinking capacity which in turn affects our potential to make proper decisions.
  • It strongly destabilizes our inner abilities like intuition and insight.
  • It disturbs you emotionally and crushes your ability to relate with others.
  • Physically, stress hampers you in a lot of ways. Starting from minor headache to life threatening illness, it can kill your happiness, mental peace and productivity.

Kill Stress before it kills you

You can not fight stress until you make yourself mentally strong. There are innumerable ways to fight out stress. Whenever you feel your level of stress is rising maintain your cool. Think about the most happening moment of your life. If you feel stress while reading try to find the easiest way to short out the problem. Don't take any prescription drugs; they won't help your cause. Some most suggested ways to relieve you from stress are-

  • Go to your favorite place.
  • Meet with you friends.
  • Discuss your problem with family members and friends.
  • If the reason of stress is your wife, kiss and make up.
  • Stop thinking, leave it all to God.

Uncertainty in professional as well as personal life is thought to be the most prominent factor for stress. Just keep in mind that there is something better stored for you in future. This will immediately relieve you and make you optimistic.
