If we talk about the weight loss diseases then statistics says that more over one-half of all Americans (about 97 million) are overweight or obese that may cause for many diseases, especially heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and cancer. Losing this weight help to prevent and control these diseases.

Obesity is a condition of excessive body fat. It is the most common form of malnutrition in the Western world. It is important to note that no "diet or weight loss formula" works independently of an eating plan based on the Dietary Guidelines given by the mainstream nutrition and health institutes. So if you are obese throw away all those "special formulas", supplements, and diet pills, stop eating more calories than you need, become more physically active and adopt a healthy eating plan.

Vitamin Supplements

Vitamins are organic compounds that our bodies use, in very minute amounts, metabolic processes. It is advisable to get vitamins from eating a mixed diet. Consuming vitamin and mineral supplements in place of eating a healthy diet is not suggested.

A healthy diet generally provides sufficient of each vitamin. Vitamins that we get from the food we eat are much better than those contained in various vitamin pills.

Food is a vital source of vitamins. Consuming vitamin supplements is not a substitute for healthy diet, as vitamin supplements do not provide proper nutrients that are present in food.
