Health is wealth- we have grown up listening to this
phrase but have we ever tried to appreciate its significance??
Our physical fitness and well being reflects the type
of food we consume. Food
can be your friend as well as your enemy. We can't abandon
the importance of proper food in our life, after all
food is the fuel which keeps us going. It is unfortunate
but true that many people fail to grab all the vitamins,
minerals and other nutrients through their daily diet.
This makes our body more prone to diseases, balanced
diet is outmost significant for a fit and fine body.
One has to be very precise regarding the diet he consumes,
do not get confused by the misleading advertisements.
Take appropriate information and try to consume as much
natural stuff as you can. If you can make one change,
it should be to add more fruits and fresh vegetables.
They prevent you from disease and increase the capability
of body to fight against diseases. Many people believe
that dietary supplements
can fulfill their nutritional demands but that's not
the case, dietary supplements can work better only when
accompanied with healthy food. There can not be any
substitute for healthy diet.
We live in a fast moving world and junk food which
was beforehand a preference is now a necessity. Fast
food mostly contains high cholesterol level and fat
content which can lead to obesity and heart related
problems. For instance if you consume 1200 calories
of fruit daily, which helps in burning fat and deduce
it suddenly to 500 calories the result will be deprivation.
Where as, if you consume 1500 calories of junk food
and reduce it to 500 calories, it will offer great results.
This authenticates the fact that junk food damage your
organs badly and a shift to healthy diet increments
the efficiency of fat burning organs. White bread- it's
not easily digestible and doesn't provides anything
to your body chocolates, fried fatty food, packed food-
all packed food is junk food and they take away the
vitamin and mineral content from the body while digestion,
food with artificial flavor and preservative, ice-cream
butter cheese, sugar- it leads to a bunch of health
problems.
Medical sciences can not stop applauding the miraculous
effects of fruits and vegetables in prevention from
diseases. Have at least one serving of fruit and vegetables
daily, the fiber contents in fruits and vegetables make
the digestion process effortless. Go for chopped vegetable
and green salad, they are fresh and raw and contain
a lot of fiber. You can also go for salad sandwich comprising
of lettuce, tomato, sprouts and other leafy vegetables.
You may also have three or four servings of juiced fruits
and vegetables. Keep yourself away from smoking and
alcoholism, they misbalance the minerals and vitamins
in your body and make it difficult to achieve good health.
Mind and body are actually a single system. A healthy
mind can stay alive only in a healthy body; therefore
it's a vitality to keep your body toned through appropriate
amount of vitamins minerals and other nutritional content.
In a system view of the body inputs of all kinds leads
to output of all kinds. Food is definitely related to
matters displayed out through skin.
