Eating bananas, carrots and tomatoes
- Many of us avoid bananas, tomatoes and carrots
because they are high on glycemic index and some fad
books relate it to weight gain
- The banana has 120 calories. A low carb bar has
200 calories. The fruit is low carb and rich in nutritional
value. So avoiding bananas for fear of weight gain
is inappropriate
Counting
carb grams
- We believe that calories don't count, if we just
count carb grams
- Use your common sense. If you eat lesser calories
than what you burn you lose
weight .If you eat more you gain more
- Learn to understand the correct calorie value of
food. Take single servings. Keep a journal and jot
down what you ate during the day. Avoid stress eating
Carb weight gain vs. Protein weight loss
- Carbs make you fat and proteins help you lose weight.
This is not true at all
- People who follow this won't touch a potato which
is 100 calories but will end up eating steak which
falls around 900 calories
- In low carb diets, your initial weight loss will
come from water content elimination from the body.
- An over dose of protein or carbs does not lead
to a successful weight
loss. You body needs many essential ingredients
to remain healthy. Don't miss out on nutrients. Instead
go for a well-balanced diet .

- We believe that all low carb foods are natural and
healthy
- Many of the low carb foods are refined and contain
large amounts of sugar and fat. Some times all the
fat free food will be passed as healthy food but they
are rich in sugar and sodium
Beers with low grams of carb
- There is a general belief that some beers are low
carb beers and it shows lesser calories on the diet
chart
- The difference is too narrow to gain any result.
The best solution is to reduce alcohol intake or stop

Low carb diet means, no exercise
- We say, if you are following a low carb diet, you
can see good results even without exercise
- Exercise is the gist of good health. No diet plan
is complete without an exercise routine. In fact,
the best way to lose those extra pounds is through
exercise

Every diet is good if we can take proper quantities
