a. Walking for 15 to 30 minutes each day helps you lose weight and keep that weight off.
b. Choose a pace that suits you and you will enjoy walking.
c. Walk at a moderate pace. The heavier you are, the more calories you will lose.
d. Set realistic goals - increase your pace gradually.
e. A Walk-up and down-hills or on the beach in the sand leads to an increase in calorie loss by 20-40%.
f. Inculcate a positive attitude and look forward to controlling weight rather than just losing weight.
