Track Your Diet
Plan
May 03, 2005
With the obesity epidemic growing at an exponential
rate, Fad diets have emerged as a promising methodology
of a rapid and an almost effortless weight loss for
college students.
In reality, Fad dieting is a mounting problem in our
society; it is a problem because a fad diet doesn't
help people to change their bad habits that led to their
overweight condition.
A fad diet is simply a quick fix to a predicament that
requires an amendment in a person's diet, exercise routine,
and lifestyle. For a successful diet program, the focus
must be on the way dieting is perceived rather than
on the calories consumed or number of carbohydrates
in the meal. Today, dieticians emphasize on the individualization
of diets.
This is vital for the diet process since everyone leads
different lifestyles and therefore may not have the
same access to healthy foods or regular exercise.
Following is a list of (fad) diet plans that you may
follow as per your convenience and lifestyle:
1. The (new) Atkins Diet.
2. The South Beach Diet.
3. The Beverly Hills Diet.
4. The Zone Diet.
5. Sugar Busters Diet.
6. Pritkin's Diet.
However, evaluating the available options and working
towards them accordingly is recommended to arrive at
your balanced diet.
