Quick Weight Loss Tips Before Wedding

Most brides want to lose weight for the wedding, but with all the things to do before the wedding, it seems like an unachievable goal. Here are some tips, which will help you achieve your dream weight.

Easy weight loss exercises

  • It is important to warm up by doing some light aerobic activity.
  • Beginners should do only one set of each exercise during the first 2 weeks.
  • It does not mean that you have to spend a lot of time on exercise. You can lose weight and tone-up with just 90-minute per week. You must include cardio and strength training exercises in your routine. The cardio needs to include periods of high intensity followed by lower rest times. Strength training needs to work the whole body.
  • Try out exercises like abdominal workout with a stability ball. You can also do many great leg/butt exercises with the ball. You can tone your upper body by strengthening the muscle groups in your upper body with dumbbells, resistance bands or weight machines.
  • Squats and lunges are also effective exercise to tone your body.
  • Find a program or a workout-buddy that will help provide you with motivation, encouragement and accountability. Your fiancé is a great first choice.
  • Join a healthy fitness program that includes cardio, strength training, flexibility and good nutrition. Once you have decreased the fat, then you can concentrate on strengthening the muscle groups in your upper body. You can do this with dumbbells, resistance bands or weight machines.

Healthy Diet

  • Eat a healthy diet and cut down on fast food and sodas.
  • Eat fruit and vegetables in place of fried food.
  • Drink milk instead of fizzy drinks.
  • Choose lean sources of protein, such as skinless poultry, rather than hot dogs and hamburgers.
  • Get your carbohydrates from whole grains, such as brown rice and whole wheat bread.
  • Do not try unhealthy, starvation-type diets because if you lose much weight in such a short period of time then you just lose water and muscle weight primarily - not fat!
  • It is better to lose less in a healthy way that includes increasing muscle mass and decreasing fat. This type of weight loss will actually improve your appearance.
  • One of the easiest ways of cutting calories is by controlling your portion size.

Check your BMI , or body mass index, to determine whether your weight is in a healthy range, and track your diet to see how many calories a day you are eating. Next, analyze your diet to see if the foods you choose are healthy. Your next step is to establish goals which are realistic.
